The Class of 2014 arrived at Drew just weeks ago and it is a record-setting class for the second year in a row. While the number and composition of our first year classes have changed in recent years, what remains constant is that we continue to admit students who have the potential to shine in college and we offer financial aid packages that make a Drew education possible for them.
There have been a number of stories written recently about the high cost of a college education. But because these stories only take into account an institution’s sticker price—what it costs us to deliver the education—many people come away with the impression that Drew, like most private colleges, is “too expensive.” Nothing could be further from the truth.
