On Sunday, September 9, 2001, over 30 Drew alumni/ae, family, and friends gathered together at the Carolina Inn in Chapel Hill, NC. The event was co-sponsored by John and Janet von der Heide. John von der Heide is a former Drew professor of History who is still extremely active in the Drew community. Alumni/ae in attendance ranged in class year from 1956 to 1997, yet they had a common bond, their beloved alma mater. The alumni/ae were joined by Drew President Paul Hardin (1974 - 1988). Also in attendance was Drew staff, Jay Angeletti, Vice President of Development and Karrie Moss, Associate Director of Alumni/ae and Development: Regional Group Programs.
