How To Apply as an International Student

Deadlines : The Regular Decision application due date is February 15th; Early Decision dates are December 1st or January 15th.

The following application requirements apply only if you are not a U.S. citizen or not a permanent resident. U.S. Citizens and permanent residents should follow the regular application instructions. Please review the Instructions. To apply, submit:

  • A notarized and signed International Student Financial Statement including the Affidavit of Support, required with the application. If you are a U.S. citizen or permanent resident who is currently studying and living abroad, you do not need to fill out the International Student Financial Statement.
  • A Drew Application for Admission or the Common Application (equal consideration is given to both forms). The preferred format is on-line.
  • A non-refundable $50 fee (fee waivers are not accepted for international applicants). This can be paid with a credit card via telephone to the USA at 973-408-3739 or with a check in U.S. dollars through the postal system.
  • Official transcripts from all secondary schools attended.
  • An official SAT I or ACT score report OR a graded paper (and TOEFL if necessary -- see criteria).

For Transfer Students Only:

  • College Official's Report filled out by an administrative official at the last college/university in which you were enrolled (only required for transfer admission).

No application will be reviewed until all of the above documents have been received. To expedite the completion of an application, a document may be faxed and the original sent by post. However, a final decision will not be made until the originals are received by the Office of College Admissions.
