21 Nov - Lecture: "Why Christianity Won." Dr. William Calder III will be presenting this lecture, examining the reasons why Christianity triumphed over other, often more popular, religions in the ancient world. This lecture will be held here at Drew. Time and place will be announced shortly.
Upcoming Trips
20 Nov - Lecture: "Schliemann's Mask of Agamemnon - How Old is It?" Dr. William Calder III will be presenting this lecture, to be held at Montclair University, discussing the theory that the famous gold masks found at Mycenae might be forgeries. Anyone interested in attending should RSVP as the Classics Club will be providing some transportation. The lecture is scheduled to begin at 8pm.
