This year, the cost of the computer can either be be paid by a one time fee, or spread out over 4 semesters. Laptop computers are mandatory for all students, and students are expected to purchase the standard or upgrade laptop computer, although limited exceptions may be granted if they meet the above specifications. Students who receive the computers receive full support from the CNS Helpdesk, including on-site warranty repairs, reimaging services, full software support, and loaner computers for repairs. Having the same computer as fellow students also means easier use in classes, and shared knowledge of configurations and usage.
