Mail.drew.edu server name will no longer work

Due to the presence of a virus on campus that can spread by contacting mail servers of the form mail.host.domain, we have removed the dns entry for mail.drew.edu that previously could be used to connect to our e-mail server.

The supported name to use in configuring your e-mail client is email.drew.edu. Any configurations we distribute and all of our documentation refers to this name. The name mail.drew.edu has never been supported but previously worked. If your mail client has recently stopped working (not receiving new e-mail or not able to send outgoing e-mail), please check the configuration settings for your mail client and make sure you are using email.drew.edu as the imap server name and the outgoing smtp server name.
