The Chapman Prize celebrates the rich legacy of Robert Chapman, a distinguished teacher, linguist, lexicographer, medievalist, and poet who taught at Drew from 1966 to 1986, by honoring extraordinary undergraduate achievement and promise in the poetry of a Drew senior. It was awarded for the first time in 2005. To be considered for the prize, graduating seniors are invited to submit two copies of ten pages of poetry to the English Department Office (Sitterly 108) by 4:00 PM on Monday, March 30th, 2009. Please include a cover letter listing your name and contact information and do not include your name on each page of the work submitted. If you have questions, feel free to contact Patrick Phillips at pphillip@drew.edu or Joanne McCann at x3544 2008:
