Karaoke -- Spring 2007
Join us twice a month (Friday & Saturday) in The Space from 10 PM - 1 AM for some Karaoke fun!

Schedule of Events for the Semester:
FEBRUARY
- Friday, February 2: Hip Hop Karaoke featuring passive programming on Media's influence on Body Image, Self Esteem, Eating behaviors and Relationships.
- Join us also on February 20 at 10 PM in The Space for an event co-sponsored with Umoja...the viewing and discussion of the film airing on Independent Lens, PBS entitled "Hip Hop: Beyond Beats & Rhymes" -- a riveting documentary that tackles issues of masculinity, sexism, violence and homophobia in today’s hip-hop culture. - Saturday, February 17: 80's Karaoke (alternate location this evening: TOE (The Other End, basement of Sitterly House) featuring passive programming on the changes in health trends from the 80s till present.
MARCH
- Friday, March 2: Female Artists Karaoke (co-sponsored with The Alliance) featuring passive programming on Health Issues specific to African American, Latina, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgender Women and women in general.
- Thursday, March 8: Karaoke Gong Show (co-sponsored with UPB SpotLight on the Space). Come out and strut your stuff on the Karaoke Stage....audience participation will determine winner of prize! Featuring passive programming about having a Safe Spring Break !
- Saturday, March 24: 80's Karaoke....Did you miss the fun in February...It's BACK!
April
- Friday, April 13: Broadway & Disney Karaoke featuring passive programming on Sexual health: STI/STD prevention
- Don't miss the Day of Silence being sponsored by The Alliance on Feb 25th!
- Saturday, April 28: Oldies Karaoke featuring passive programming on trends in Relationship Volence from the 50's to present

- Friday, May 4: Rock Karaoke featuring passive programming on (sex) Drugs & Rock 'n Roll
