Tea & Talk SeriesThe Tea & Talk series provides an opportunity for small group discussion with peers about life issues, and reflection on these aspects of social, emotional, spiritual and physical well-being. Each month follows a specific theme as per the Campus Wellness Programming Theme Calendar at http://depts.drew.edu/healthytransitions/wellnesscalendar.php . The weekly gathering provides a thought provoking group activity followed by discussion. A variety of teas and juices are offered. A relaxing way to end the week and/or kick off weekend or dinner conversation with your friends! The following Tea & Talks are held each Friday, from 4-5 PM in The Space, located in the University Center .Note: This series provides credit towards the Leadership Certificate Program. Please contact Student Activities for more detail.

What do you think of when you hear “Sexuality”? Our sexuality is an important part of who we are and what we will become. It is about being in HEALTHY relationships that includes an understanding and balance of : Sexual Intimacy, Sensuality, Sexual Identity, Reproductive & Sexual Health, and our Sexual influence...What do these entail? Come to discuss!

Celebrate the uniqueness in all of us. If our character, life experiences and personality traits were “on our outside” would assumptions, stereotypes, and discrimination still occur? ."If My Inside Were My Outside" . This 3 minute thought-provoking MP3 asks the question “if my inside was my outside” would assumptions, stereotypes, and discrimination still occur? How to identify sources of distress in your life, recognize stress reactions and develop healthier ways of coping.
Join us for a reading of “ What a Night ” followed by a discussion about the male and female perspective of college culture, social and sexual relationships and the role alcohol plays in them.
NOVEMBERTHEME: Taking Care of Your Body, Mind & Spirit
Examine and discuss how our beliefs about our bodies influence our behaviors/lifestyle choices and ways to foster a positive body image.
Examine the ways that common lifestyle habits interact to exert positive or negative influences on personal well being and community well being.
