Publish Powerpoint to the Web

Publish Options
You can publish a powerpoint file to the Web and make it available anytime and anywhere.

 

Save As a Web Page

To save a powerpoint slide show as a web page, follow the following steps:

1. Open the presentation file you want to make as a web page.
2. Click File -> Save As Web Page. The save as dialog window appears
3. Enter the filename you want to for the Web presentation file in the File Name box.
4. Click Save to save the presentation file as an HTML file.
   
Note: If you want to customize the viewing settings of the web presentation file, click on the Publish button to change the default settings

 

Publish Options

1. Click the Publish button from the Save As window, Publish as Web page dialog window will appear as shown on the right.

 

 

2. You can chose to publish the whole presentation file or part of the slides from the "Publish what?" section.
3. Click on the Web Options button to find more formatting and display setting options.
4. Click OK after you customize all the settings you want. Then go back to the Publish as Web Page dialog window.
5. Click on Publish button to publish the file.

 

Open the HTML file from your browser, you will see it as shown on the right.

You can see the presentation outlines in the left hand side, presentation slides in the right up hand side, and the notes in the right bottom hand side.
