Student Wins Scholarship from Broadcasters

Second-year student Roseann Lake has won a $5,000 scholarship from the New Jersey Broadcasters Association.

In order to win the award, Lake had to submit three essays as well as a sample of work pertaining to broadcast. She submitted two broadcast samples including a video she made for her French 101 class, with Kristine Aurbakken.

Lake was honored at a "Best of the Best" event in Atlantic City in late spring, along with local radio and TV personalities.
