List-Serv for Graduate Students in WS PhD Programs

Welcome to WSPHD-L, a listserv for women's studies doctoral students. The
listserv provides students a means of posting announcements, news, or requests pertinent to the general membership. M.A. students in women's studies are also welcome, as are recipients of the Women's Studies Ph.D. Participants should be aware, however, that this list will focus on the Ph.D. from students' perspectives. Undergraduates and faculty/administrators are encouraged to seek a more appropriate list (like the WMST-L, which centers on the teaching of women's studies, or the PALIST, for administrators of women's studies programs and departments).

POSTING MESSAGES: WSPHD-L@LISTS.PSU.EDU

The list is not moderated, which means that subscribers post to the list directly. Brevity and relevance of posted messages will be much appreciated.

1. To post messages to the list send your posting to WSPHD-L@LISTS.PSU.EDU.
Be sure to include the topic in the subject line. Please note that you must
use a different address if you wish to halt delivery temporarily or to
issue other listserv subscription commands.

2. Include your name and e-mail address at the end of every posting to the
list so that readers will be able to contact you privately if they wish to do so.

3. Please use plain text rather than special formatting whenever possible.
Computer facilities vary considerably within our membership.

4. Replies to individual postings are sent to the whole list. If you want
your response to go only to the individual who posted the message, create a
new message addressed to that individual, or "forward" your response to
that person.
