Greetings from the GDR Chair

Virginia Burrus

I am pleased to greet you with this second issue of our e-Newsletter!  As I indicated last time, we hope that this publication will provide a vehicle for sharing news several times a year about the exciting things that are happening in the broader community of Drew's Graduate Division of Religion--not least the lives and careers of our alumni and alumnae.  Do send us your news, as well as suggestions for possible featured articles. GDR Scholarship Fund

Did you know that Drew Theological School is committed to providing all Ph.D. students in the Graduate Division of Religion with full tuition fellowships? Such support enables us to attract the very best and brightest students interested in becoming the next generation of seminary professors and scholars of religion. Our ability to meet this need is made possible, in large measure, by the generous philanthropic support of our alumni and friends. Make a gift today and help us continue giving the gift of an exceptional graduate education to our students.

Having just completed a wonderfully productive year--the fifth in the Center’s history--we are very pleased to announce that Dr. Kenneth Ngwa, Assistant Professor of Hebrew Bible, will serve as Director of CCGC in 2012-2013.
